"Halley's 1986" oil on paper-mounted panel, 7.5" x 6.75" 2011
Self-portrait as a kiddo; approximately from the year that Halley's comet last passed by. We lived in Alabama then. Black geometry lifted from a commemorative matchbox car (Pontiac Firebird) that also features a smiling, wormy representation of said comet; winding it's way past a slice of yellow moon (see below). Childhood relics and cosmic events.
